Event names:
Lion dance activities and performances, New Year’s Eve activities, ink painting exhibitions.
Introduction Through lion dance activities and performance opportunities, children can learn about traditional Chinese sports culture. Recognize the movements of the moving body, imitate the lion pose, and feel the possibilities of physical movement. Lion dance performances can enhance children’s self-confidence and promote this activity and culture to the outside world.
New Year’s Eve activities can be used to inherit and display the traditions and customs of Chinese culture. Through home-school cooperation, parent volunteers go to the school to assist with the layout and coordination, allowing children to dress in Chinese costumes and simulate going to the New Year’s Eve flower market to buy presents and play games at different stalls, such as lion dance performances, glutinous rice dumpling making, DIY dragons, and New Year food charity sales. etc., so that children can have a deeper understanding and experience of the characteristics of the Lunar New Year and enjoy the joyful atmosphere of the New Year together.
The ink painting exhibition allows children’s learning achievements to be integrated into the community through the exhibition platform, allowing families in the district to understand how young artists feel about art. In the process, children’s artistic literacy and creativity are cultivated, and their artistic potential is explored. Ink painting can help children add value and understand Chinese culture.
